Am I a blogger?

No. I wanted to vibe code a website and I was a VC once upon a time so it seemed natural to include a blog. The world wants to hear what I have to say!1

In all seriousness, spending the last few hours with Claude has been cool. I thought I'd build a website, although it's not my first time trying. About a year ago, I tried to launch a website on Squarespace. I thought it'd be easy — the layouts were drag and drop, the domain name was easy to buy and almost everyone I knew had a website. Mine sucked and the process was a pain in the ass. In a few hours today, I created this site with Claude. I actually like it! I'm kind of addicted to editing it.2

The cool part is I learned a ton going through the process. Claude taught me how to set up a GitHub & Vercel account, how to push code to git, what Vercel actually does (hat tip to Accel), and how to call public APIs (hat tip ESPN). It was easy to add thousands of words to a wordle game — and to have coding become so accessible that my friends forgot I have no idea what I'm doing and instead complained it was too easy.

Not a blogger. Maybe a coder?

1 No one has ever said this to me.
2 I was also “addicted” to eating healthy. That did not last long.
